Platte River Ventures (PRV) is a private equity investment firm based in Denver, Colorado, focusing on small and middle market operating companies. Utilizing the significant operating expertise of its principals, Platte River Ventures serves as a value-added partner to the management teams of its portfolio companies.
Platte River Ventures was founded in 2005 by J. Landis Martin who has served as the Chairman and CEO of several publicly-held industrial, chemical, and metals companies over the past 18 years. Most recently, Mr. Martin served as Chairman, CEO and President of Titanium Metals Corporation, the world's largest supplier of titanium used in aerospace and other industrial applications.
